1. Wild Orchid- I love this CD b/c of the soul elements since R & B is my favorite genre. 2. Fire- I think is CD represented Stacy at her best. Her vocals on this CD are superb, imo not to discount Renee and Stef. I could have done without "U Knew" and "Fire" but it's still a good CD 3. Hypnotic- Although I miss Stacy, Renee and Stef did a great job on this CD w/out her. I love the arrangements and they have found their musical voice with this CD. The downside: no ballads 4. Oxygen- This CD could have used some more soul. For example, the rhythm mix of "Be Mine" is 10X better than the original. It seemed that this CD was trying too hard to fit into the "teen pop" mode.

I e-mailed Rhythmnet.com last year and here's the response about Hypnotic:
Hello:
Sorry for the late reply. I do not know overall as we are only one distribution point. They do seem popular though. Please visit us again as we are always adding new artists. Thanks.
Have a great day,
Craig Cooke

I know she's been working on some stuff, but she has not posted any music files.
The last diary entry was May 18, and Stefanie talked about celebrating her birthday and Jamie taking over as moderator for the board

Renee might even be the next Bobby Brown, LOL Minus the drug and law problems I'm sorry to read about your loss, Ellie. Thinking of the happy memories will get you through

Don't Renee and Stefanie own Yellow Brick Records? If so, why would Stefanie have to get a new deal if she has a label of her own? Sorry, I'm not very savvy about the music business The label definitely folded. You can't run a record lable without revenue from sales. I'm sure they lost a lot of money on the venture and had to cut their losses. Thanks for the clarification. I hate that they had to fold it b/c it seemed to be a promising venture Hopefully someone will sign Stefanie down the road.

That means if Stefanie is going to release an album, she is going to have to get a new record deal and Renee isn't even making solo music!! NOOO!! lol Don't Renee and Stefanie own Yellow Brick Records? If so, why would Stefanie have to get a new deal if she has a label of her own? Sorry, I'm not very savvy about the music business

I got the message when DJ Rain referred to Stefanie as "former singer of Wild Orchid" I'm pissed that they never became a big group. But like Ellie said a while back, "Hypnotic" was meant for the fans sans a big promotional tour. I had a feeling that CD would be the last we'd hear from Stefanie and Renee. The bright spot is we have a great collection of music that has meant something to us all over the past eight years

Here are the lyrics:
Everyone can take a look behind And find the memory that changed their lives Who can forget all that magic? And the first kiss, oh that first kiss Or how it feels to hold you like this
If God gave you one moment to frame inside your mind To see could feel exactly how it did the first time Could just that one moment be everything you’ll ever need The closet thing to heaven baby Would that moment be with me
Love is lost, and brand new love is found A child is born the world keeps spinning ‘round Who won’t remember the one day that they say “I Do” Or how I laugh each time that I’m with you
If God gave you one moment to frame inside your mind To see could feel exactly how it did the first time Could just that one moment be everything you’ll ever need The closet thing to heaven baby Would that moment be with me
When you laugh (When you laugh) When you cry (When you cry) When you hate to say goodbye (Say goodbye) Hope each moment that you look into my eyes
If God gave you one moment to frame inside your mind To see could feel exactly how it did the first time Could just that one moment be everything you’ll ever need The closet thing to heaven baby Would that moment be with me The closet thing to heaven baby Would that moment be with me Would that moment be with me.......

You know what's really strange about this, is that something major always happens around the time of my birthday. My b-day is March 31st. This is such a great birthday gift! What a gift, huh ;)I threw my notebook in the air and screamed (silently) that the girls are going to get together when Fergie comes back to town, Stef's solo project and the madness on the messageboard being addressed and I died laughing when I saw that they were "pissed," I can't imagine Renee and Stef being pissed. Anyway, I'm enjoying the great weather we're having here in Chattanooga and I hope you all will do the same (if it's warm )

I'm going to adopt "The River" because it has always been my fav and because Stef and Renee sang it for me when I met them. Nooooo, that's my song No hard feeling btw I love your siggy. I'm adopting "Simon Sez" from "Fire" because of the vocals and they just sound as if they had fun recording this song. Plus, it's my favorite song to exercise and get dressed to.

*starts passing the collection plate* I agree with everyone on here. I think the fighting is ridiculous, pointless and needs to come to an end-quick.
