Unless Dina is joking, which I don't think she is, she replied to my e-mail about Wild Orchid and said they are over with. My e-mail to her, I asked her if she could please please please answer my question lol and then I asked Is Wild Orchid, Yellow Brick Records, and wildorchid.com over with?? And then I said that Wild Orchid still has fans but they have lost a lot of them because they haven't updated the site in so long. I said I know that they are doing their own thing now but the no updating has lost a lot of fans. Dina e-mailed me back with a very short e-mail that said "Yes, it is over"  |

I got the message when DJ Rain referred to Stefanie as "former singer of Wild Orchid" I'm pissed that they never became a big group. But like Ellie said a while back, "Hypnotic" was meant for the fans sans a big promotional tour. I had a feeling that CD would be the last we'd hear from Stefanie and Renee. The bright spot is we have a great collection of music that has meant something to us all over the past eight years  |

So let's see here, this means: -No new WO music -No touring or television appearences -No singles or videos -No web site updates -No news for months at a time Exactly what here has changed?.... But seriously I knew the last nail was pushed in as soon as Stefanie started her solo album. We've got 4 great CD's and a handful of other tracks that kick a** and, as was said before, great memories! I'm still not leaving this board. I don't care who we talk about here!  |

It's about damn time somebody from their camp said something officially to all those who were still holding out hope! I think we all knew here at this board that it was over a long time ago. As I've stated before, this board is dedicated to Stefanie and Renee, regardless if they are in a band or not. We can talk about whoever we want here. It's an open board. So, chat and be merry! I also would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you. You all have made this board what it is today. We've been through a lot, and that's just been one crazy ass fan! LOL Even with all the drama, we survived! It is true, Wild Orchid has the best fans. You all have proven that time and time again. Stefanie and Renee are very blessed to have such dedicated and caring fans. Stefanie and Renee both are two incredibly strong-willed women who are obviously happy where they are in their lives. I wish them well in whatever they choose to do with their lives. They've given us great music and tons of memories that we will treasure forever. Thank you Stefanie, Renee, and Stacy for everything you have contributed to music. And once again, thanks to all of you! You're awesome, you're the shit!...lol |

OMG! You guys would have been laughing at me if you saw my reaction to Dina's e-mail!
I was in shock!! Just Dina saying "yes it is over." I was like "NOOOOOOOOOO!!" That means if Stefanie is going to release an album, she is going to have to get a new record deal and Renee isn't even making solo music!! NOOO!! lol
I never was a fan of KIDSINC (becuz i wasn't born yet lol) but I first became a fan when I saw the "Talk To Me" video. I remember everything, and I was only 8 years old!! It was in the morning, and me and my brother were getting ready to go to school and we always watched Mtv in the morning. And then I had "Talk To Me" in my head all day!!
I was only 8 so Wild Orchid wasn't like the 1st thing on my mind, so I always liked their music but wasn't "obsessed." But I remember some day in the summer of 1997, our babysitter took us to the mall and I saw Wild Orchid cd and I wanted to get it really bad but I wasn't aloud! But when I got it, I loved every song. That was like my summer, listening to that cd
I never even knew they had a 2nd album, I was satisfied with just that one.
I saw Great Pretenders and thought 'Oh I remember them!' and I one time when I was at the mall I saw the "Stuttering" cd-single but I didn't get it ;(
Then one day I was looking for thru my cds and found Wild Orchid, then I got on the net and was lookin up info on them then bought OXYGEN, FIRE, & HYPNOTIC!!
OOH THE MEMORIES!!

I'm sure they lost a lot of money on the venture and had to cut their losses.  |

Well, that's their problem. They invited her into the group, so now they have to deal with the consequences that come with that. They wanted her, so they have her. All I've ever read and heard from the guys is that they adore her. Perhaps, behind closed doors it may be a different thing, but, I don't think that they feel as if they're being overshadowed by her. Maybe they've said it in a jokingly manner, but, from all accounts, they adore her.

You're joking right? Stacy in DC? Somehow I think Beyonce would have a lot to say about that! Let's put it this way, If Stacy decides to leave BEP or they decide to kick her out, the direction Stacy would go in and is already going in is becoming a solo artist.
