I heard the song, (thanks to Jason, Fergie's biggest fan ever) and I suppose it will have to grow on me because I didn't dig it at all. I thought she said her album was going to be personal. I took that as meaning more ballad driven. I hope there are ballads on her album because I love it when she's singing from the soul, loud and clear. Her voice has the ability to send chills down your spine If she allows it to.

I'm not feeling the song. I hope to purple rainbows that it's only a leak and not the first single (although it will do well on Hip Hop and Top 40 stations). I always imagined her solo album would have a feel of "Fly Away" and "Won't Let You Fall." "Third Eye," "Fly Away," "Feel It," and "Won't Let You Fall" are her best "chills" worthy songs

I've just come to the conclusion of why I don't care for the song. It reminds me too much of "Hollaback Girl" and I couldn't (and still can't) stand that song. Just a thought.

To add to your list of chills-down-the-spine songs performed by Stacy, "I Won't Play The Fool", is Stacy at her very best. Her vocals on that song is absolutely amazing. I thought she said her album was going to be personal. I took that as meaning more ballad driven. I hope there are ballads on her album because I love it when she's singing from the soul, loud and clear. Her voice has the ability to send chills down your spine If she allows it to. ^Yes, I agree "I Won't Play the Fool" is a spine-chiller also.
Here's Billboard's review of "London Bridge:"
London Bridge (Oh Shh) FERGIE Producer(s): Polow Da Don for Zone 4 Inc. Genre: POP Label: A&M/Interscope Stacy Ferguson, aka Fergie, steps out from the Black Eyed Peas to deliver an annoying "My Humps" sound-alike. The track from her debut album, "The Duchess," follows the current trend of overproduction, but what worked for Gwen Stefani in "Hollaback Girl" and Nelly Furtado in "Promiscuous" fails here. Funky horns, sirens and other distractions cannot save what amounts to a flaccid performance of inane lyrics. Having debuted at No. 40 at mainstream top 40, earning Greatest Gainer and Most Airplay Adds honors, we are sure "London Bridge" will be a hit; we're not as sure it's any good. —Kristina Tunzi

I feared that she would quickly be compared to Gwen and Nelly.

While I'm not sure it's the strongest choice for a lead single, I like it okay. It reminds me a lot more of "Tipsy" by J-Kwon than "Hollerback Girl". I like both songs, so that doesn't really bother me.
I'm not really prepared to write off the whole album based on this track. Stacy has said before that she's waited her whole life to record her solo album. Somehow I don't think she's been dreaming since childhood about someday unleashing "London Bridges" on the world. I'm of the 'wait and see' mind-set.
Oh and I HATE the title. "The Duchess"?! Why not just call it "I'm a novelty act"? Not the best way to be taken seriously on your 1st solo outing IMHO.

I don't like the title either. I haven't totally written off the whole album. I just hope that the rest of the songs on the album really showcase her beautiful voice. ^^You have to admit the title is a step up from "Fergielicious."
I'm hoping and praying that the rest of the CD is better and "London Bridge" is just a filler.

The Duchess is actually more cheesy and pathetic, than horrible. It makes me cringe.
