This year has come to an end, but before we completely say good-bye to it, I thought it would be fun to compile a list of the winners and losers of 2003. So, let's have some fun with it!! Here's my list:
Winners:
Stacy Ferguson-This has been an incredible year for her. She has bounced back from her drug dependency and has had great success with the Black Eyed Peas. She's definitely a winner of 2003.
President George W. Bush-He executed a successful war, freed a country of a horrible dictator, and caputured the dictator...alive. How many presidents can say they did that?...lol
Elisabeth Filarski-Hasselback-I've been going back and forth about this one, Elisabeth won the new co-host seat on ABC's The View, but sitting next to those women must be hell.
Beyonce Knowles-Even though I'm not a fan, this year has been the year of Beyonce. All day, everyday...and I'm tired of it!...lol But I must give credit where credit is due. She is a winner of 2003.
Arnold Schwarzenegger-He became the new Governor of California with no real experience in politics.
Wild Orchid-No matter what happens they will always be winners to me. Their talent is immeasurable. Hopefully, 2004 will be the year they finally get the recognition they deserve. Keep rockin on girls.
Mandy Moore-I never thought she'd make it past the "Candy" stage, but I was wrong. She is not only a successful musician but a successful actress as well.
Justin Timberlake-Although, now he annoys me, I must say this has been his year.
Britney Spears-I'm not a fan but her CD did do well, unfortunately.
OutKast-They're so talented! It was definitely a great year for them.
Hmmm, I guess I'll have more losers than winners!...lol
Losers:
Michael Jackson-Lord, where do I start?...lol This whole saga will continue on into the new year for sure. Michael, here's a little friendly advice...write note to self: Sleeping with other people's children is NOT okay!
Kobe Bryant-He f*cked up...literally...lmao Personally, I don't believe the allegation of rape, but he is one of the losers of 2003.
Scott Peterson-He became a loser last year when he reported his pregnant wife Laci supposedly "missing". Umm, yeah, then lied about an affair he was having. Total loser and I can only hope that he gets justice served to him piping hot in 2004.
Mark Geragos-This guy is nothing but media hungry. The only reason why he took the Jackson case is because he knew his client, Scott Peterson was going up shit creek without a paddle. He only exchanged one loser for another.
Saddam Hussein-The ending was so poetic. A rat captured in a rat hole. Gosh, you gotta love that!
Gray Davis-Lost the recall. Hey, he could always take up acting!
Jessica Simpson-Everytime I come across that annoying show of hers I always feel the need to send her to the Wizard of Oz for a brain!...LOL
Reality Shows-I hate them with a passion. The sad part about it is that they won't be going away any time soon. I can see myself at 87 years old flipping through the channels and then coming across the the show "Senior Citizen American Idol". I wonder if Kelly will still be able to belt it out at that age?
Paris Hilton-Paris dear, write note to self: When making a sex tape, make sure YOU are the only person that is in possession of it!
Britney Spears/Christina/Madonna VMA kiss-I didn't think it was all that great, I mean it was just a kiss and poor Christina got left out of the coverage of it, but I think she benefited from that. So in the end, she came out a winner.
