I think that people are blowing this way out of proportion. Who said the Superbowl was a family oriented event?! I certainly don't think it is. It's also an event where people drink themselves into an oblivion and act like jackasses. CBS knew what they were getting into by having MTV produce the half-time show. I don't think neither Janet, Justin, nor MTV should be apologetic about what happened. It made for great entertainment and if you turned your head away from the tv you missed it. It came and went just that fast. There are soldiers dying everyday in Iraq and all anybody can report on and complain about it Janet's breast being exposed at the Superbowl. That is frivolous. What ever happened to freedom of expression? It was just a breast for God's sake. People are making a mountain out of a mole hill. If CBS wants their half-time show to be kid-family- friendly then may I suggest they get the Christian Broadcasting Network or Disney to produce their half-time shows from now on. People just need to get over it and focus on more important things going on in the world today.

I totally agree Elle. It really is pissing me off that its such a huge deal. I mean come on, who hasnt seen a boob before? lol its ridiculous. The fact that it is being investigated now is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. People need to get lives and focus on more important things.

I was shocked but I wasn't traumatized. I believe everyone knew what was up b/c why would they advertise the show as "shocking," they didn't mean clowns and rabbits would come out of hats. This is MTV for goodness sake, so I fail to see why CBS is pleading ignorance. All these dumb people had to do was turn to MTV and see that they do not produce "family friendly" entertainment. If they were so concerned with protecting their image, they should have gotten their other network VH1 to produce the show. As for the FCC, we know those sick puppies are going to rewind the tape over and over and call it a "thorough" investigation.
