I remember reading somewhere once that after they started writing their own songs that there was a bit of a battle from record companies to sign them and RCA won, not sure who the other labels were though. i think i remember hearing that Sony and/or Columbia was somewhere in there before RCA, but it ended up that RCA picked them up in the end. |
