NATASHA COLLAPSES AND IS FORCED TO TAKE A MONTH OFF

ATOMIC KITTEN star NATASHA HAMILTON has collapsed and is suffering from severe nervous exhaustion.

The sexy singer, who has sparked rumours about her health by looking painfully thin of late, has been ordered by doctors to rest for at least a month.

The other two members of the band — JENNY FROST and LIZ McCLARNON — rushed to Natasha's bedside.

They have been making daily visits to her west London home.

The Kittens were due to play for PRINCE ANDREW and FERGIE at a charity party in the grounds of their Berkshire mansion, Sunninghill, on Friday night.

But the girls pulled out just four hours before they were due to go on stage.

One guest said: "We were told one of them was very ill and was not allowed to perform on medical grounds."

Sources close to the band put Tash's collapse down to a combination of illness and overwork.

One insider said: "She has been working flat out and hasn't been well at all recently with respiratory flu. Doctors warned her to take it easy but she didn't want to let the band down and is now paying the price.

"Tash has been told she has to rest and her parents have driven down from Liverpool to look after her and her baby Josh.

"We're all very worried about her. She's lost a lot of weight and looks thin at the moment.

"We've really noticed it it in the last few months."

Last night a spokesman for the band confirmed: "Tash hasn't thrown off the flu she's had for a few weeks.

"The doctor has told her she must rest and stay off her feet.

"Jenny and Liz have sent her flowers and been to see her and are very worried about her.

"But Tash wants to send a message to all the fans to say she will be back as soon as possible."

Tash caused a huge storm a year ago by saying she had got her figure back after being pregnant by not eating.

She said: "The way to a nice backside is not to eat."

The band are set to release their new album Ladies Night next month.

Jenny and Liz will promote it if Tash is told to continue to rest.

Last week it was reported that Tash and her ex, nightclub owner Fran Cosgrave, were at war over custody of Josh

After yesterdays CRAZY media talk of Natasha and the state of her health, the official site have been quick to release this official statement, and you can all calm down guys, because, despite all the paper talk, it isn't as bad as we first thought.....

By now you’ll all probably know that Tash missed CDUK yesterday. The Kittens were supposed to be performing their new single but unfortunately, at the last minute, Tash just didn’t feel up to it and the girls had to cancel.

She is feeling really under the weather having had a throat infection and a chest infection plus the flu over the past few weeks. She should really have taken time off when she first became unwell, but the all girls have been looking forward to promoting the new single and album so much, that Tash didn’t want to let any of the fans down by taking time off.

Almost everyone in kitten camp has had a throat infection, a chest infection or the flu over the past month but Tash has been unlucky and had all 3 !!!. So we are making Tash take a week off to get well.

Don't be concerned about anything you might read in the press about other reasons for Tash not being around. In a weeks time she is going to be absolutely fine. So don’t worry.

In the meantime Jen and Lil are still going to be keeping the kitten flag flying until Tash gets well next week.

The media, especially the British media, loves to hype things. They report the story as this gloom and doom story but we later on come to find out that it wasn't as bad as it was once reported. I still think that the paparazzi had something to do with the death of our beloved Princess Diana.

Is she the one who just had the baby or was that Liz. When they were in Australia recently she was saying that she was suffering from depression since here baby was born. It was so sad. But she is getting the help she needs now.
