Do they own YELLOW BRICK RECORDS? Or is it just an independent label they signed to?
In their BIOGRAPHY they say that they want a platinum plaque... THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE IF IT IS NOT SOLD IN STORES OR PROMOTED WITH RADIO AND VIDEO!!!!
I doubt FERGIE'S coming back, so I think they should another member or go as a duo and try to get another Major record deal.
BTW...whatever happened to ALL THE WAY and HYPNOTIC going to radio as singles. They weren't played anywhere! WO... See if SONY still wants you!!

Yellow Brick Records is owned by WO. They started their own record label to get away from the politics and bullshit from major labels. By having their own label they can do whatever the hell they want to. Indie artists have proven to be widely successful. That is due to the fact that they have the artistic freedom to write and record whatever they want to. Indie artists depend on their fans, the real grassroots people to help get the word out about them. Indie fans do a much better job at promotion than major labels!
Yes, being an Indie artist has it's downfalls, like not being promoted on a wider scale, money is sometimes an issue and so forth.
The best decision Stefanie and Renee ever made was to start up their own record label. Would it be much easier to go out and try to get a record deal with Sony? Sure, but you have to understand that Stefanie and Renee are tired. They are tired of trying to conform to the bullshit politics of the major labels. They've been singing their hearts out for the past 10 years. They thought RCA was going to do right by them, but they didn't. They've been gutted by the major labels.
I don't think there will be any additions to the group. Stefanie is doing her own thing, and Renee is doing hers. Whether they are happy or not with their current situation, time will only tell.

I personally like them better now that they are on an indie label, I think the music has grown alot better since they left RCA.

They ought to have a label distributor, I think Yellow Brick would great as a member of the Universal Music Group.

I have a feeling they'd set themselves up to be screwed if they went to a major distributor. I want them to be successful as the next fan, but I don't want to see them go through what they went through with RCA again. By owning their own label they have more of a say and that's cool with me

I like that they can do more of what they want too, And I know it costs a lot of money to make a video and to promote and go on tour and send cds to stores, But I wish they would do that so more people could hear them.
