I put up a thread like this awhile ago, but my opinions have changed...
My favorite albums...
1 - HYPNOTIC - this cd grew on me. The music is so different from any of their other stuff. You can't really label them, as Pop or R&B because they're like a blend of that mixed electro-pop/soul. The lyrics are at their best too!
2 - WILD ORCHID - great lyrics, nice summery feeling music. This is one of the best albums I own. If I was strandid on an island "Wild Orchid" and "Hypnotic" would have to be with me. (oxygen and fire are good but they are not even in my top 50 of best cds I own)
3 - FIRE ('fire' is the best song i think) 4 - OXYGEN
My favorite songs...
HYPNOTIC --- kiss the sky // it's on // my lover // sugarfly // contagious // love in all control // let the record spin
WILD ORCHID --- ALL OF THE SONGS
FIRE --- do me right // world without you // it's only your love // fire // u knew // one moment
OXYGEN --- declaration // wasted love // holding on // take you higher // make it easy for me

My favorite albums...
1 - WILD ORCHID - Easily in my all-time top 10. Those harmonies, that look, the sound, the VOICES! An astounding avalanche of rich, soulful powerhouse vocals. A choir of 3. Incredible.
2 - HYPNOTIC - Fun, upbeat, well-crafted dance pop. While Stacy's absence leaves a noticable void in their sound, the duo of Stefanie and Renee are not to be counted-out. They have a beautiful sound together.
3 - FIRE - My love of both pop music in general and Wild Orchid makes me like this album against my better judgement. It smacks of desperation in the moments when it clings to a sound and style that the girls had clearly out-grown. But what the album lacks in harmonies, it more than makes up for in solo vocal performances from the 3 of them.
4 - OXYGEN - I RARELY listen to this album. It was a huge disappointment. The only track I love off this album is "Wasted Love" and that was only before I found out that it was an outtake from the 1st album. Where are the harmonies? Where is the soul? While the passage of time (mostly in the waiting for "Fire" to be realeased period) has made some track grow on me, overall, I did not care for this one.
My favorite songs...
WILD ORCHID --- Supernatural (The break in the middle still gives me chills). At Night I Pray (Still holds up and brings back great memories)
HYPNOTIC --- My Lover (Makes me smile everytime I hear it, without fail). Let The Record Spin (One of Renee's best vocal performances filling in on the parts that were intended for Stacy)
FIRE --- A Little Bit of Lovin' (The least over-produced track) It's All Your Fault (Great pop song. Rings back to the early days of WO's vocal fierceness)
OXYGEN --- Wasted Love (Stacy at her a**-kickin' best). Declaration (Has great potential, but always felt almost like a demo. Half-finsihed).
