I expected no less than that. They're popular.

Seems that way doesn't it? But, once again, I am not surprised by it at all. I don't even remember when their last show was. All I remember were the reports that Renee was "sick" and they had to cancel some performances.

The whole article was very inflammatory to Stefanie and Renee. I don't know if those were Stacy's words, but, she comes off like being in Wild Orchid was embarrassing for her.

Why on earth does RCA wish to release this song in particular. It's a nice song, but, it's not exactly one of their really, really good ones. If she did sign a contract that gives RCA the permission to release the song and or any other Wild Orchid songs, then she has no choice but to accept it and move on. Besides, Renee, Bobby, and Stefanie will get their dues from the song when RCA releases it. Stacy will also get her dues as well. So, it's nothing to be upset about.

I'm sure most of you Black Eyed Peas fans know this already, but, just in case you don't , you can catch Stacy and the rest of the Peas in the new movie Be Cool, starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Vince Vaughn and Cedric The Entertainer. It will be in the theaters on March 4th.

I possibly would watch them again, but, not before the industry starts putting out music that's worth listening to. The shit the industry is putting out as music is nauseating. There's not one real singer/songwriter out there right now that's grabbing my attention. The artists that I do listen to are in my opinion dynamite international artists who usually sing in their native tongue, whatever that may be, Spanish, Italian, French, Greek and so forth.
The music industry has successfully pushed those artists out who actually do have amazing talent. They have been replaced by the likes of Ashlee Simpson. I'm still in a state of complete shock as to how she got a record deal, achieved international fame and recognition. Artists with real talent who are being pushed aside and swept underneath the rug are most definitely on the verge of becoming extinct if the industry keeps choosing quantity over quality. I do not want to wake up one day in my 50s to know that Britney Spears is still considered to be crème de la crème of music.
As for Stacy's performance, I'm sure it was great. She is and has always been a great perfomer. Even though I am not a Black Eyed Peas fan, I am happy for their Grammy win.

It's nice that they won. I don't even watch award shows anymore. There's no one on there that I'd like to see so, I don't watch them.

I could care less as to whatever the other posts said. I was simply stating in my side note to you and to anyone else how things are ran this forum. This is my forum and I'm letting you and everyone know what the rules are on this forum. No, I did not take kindly to your first post. It was rude and offensive and you're pretty damned lucky that I didn't delete it and you. It would have been nice for you to try to get to know us first before suggesting that we are bitter fans.
You based your judgement soley on a few posts in one thread. We do in fact support Stacy and her career, but, we also support Wild Orchid and we have questions about how things became so unraveled before and after Stacy's departure.
And if I am coming off as being a bit touchy, bitchy and over protective of this forum and it's members, it's because I am. We have had our fill of people coming onto this forum and other Wild Orchid forums being completely rude and offensive. So, yes, you did touch a nerve with me whether you intended to or not. You can continue to post on this forum or you can choose not to. That's totally up to you. I gave you the ground rule if you do choose to continue to post here.

She does come off like she has amnesia when it comes to Wild Orchid. Was being in the band that horrible? To hear her tell it, she basically just stayed in the band to appease Stefanie and Renee. All I want to know is, if she didn't want to make that type of music and be in a band like that, then why the hell become apart of it in the first place? She could have saved herself the heartache and the breakdown had she not joined the band, but, I suppose it was meant to happen to teach her something about herself and about life.
As a side note, I'll continue to tolerate this thread as long as it stays peaceful and respectful. This forum is a place for people to come share their thoughts in a civilized manner. The second it becomes anything but that, I will ban anyone who wishes to disturb the peace on this forum.

I feel the same way. I'm sure she has her version of the truth and so does Renee and Stefanie. I was just talking to Adrea yesterday about when exactly did Stacy start to feel inadequate in WO? I mean if she didn't like being the group then why the hell be in it to begin with? I'd love to hear Stef and Renee's sides to this, but, trying to get any information out of them at this moment is impossible as we all know.
As for Stacy dating Justin, or whatever the hell it was, I guess she likes them very young, or he likes them very old! It's all very weird and lascivious.
